We started with a bold promise, which has become the cornerstone of our commitment as a leading manufacturer of chemical products for the construction industry. With 12,000 employees and 93 plants worldwide, along with 36 research centers and thousands of product references, we quickly made an impact. The phrase Everything’s OK with Mapei! went viral, becoming a popular catchphrase used in all company communications and among industry professionals. A series of radio commercials that consistently concluded with this confident statement played a significant role in the slogan’s popularity.
We continued celebrating the company’s 80th anniversary with a publication that is a real combo. A unique item containing two distinct works: a “traditional” brochure, presenting the company’s mission, values, strengths, figures, and products, and a small volume of stories beautifully illustrated by Carlo Stanga. Eighteen stories about the history of Mapei. Eighteen stories in which the products, the works carried out, and historical and contemporary figures speak for themselves.
Then came the time for taking stock. Financial stock, of course, but also and above all sustainability stock. These two documents are much more than a mere list of data and tables. They are a summary of the work carried out by a large team that works every day to always give its best. And the design had to be up to the task.
